Who am I?
My love of books began at eleven, when I read my very first chapter book. From that moment on, I was captivated by stories and their magical ability to transport me to another world. Books became my escape, my comfort, and a place I could always turn to whenever I needed it.
Many moons later, the written word still enchants me. It was this enduring love affair with storytelling that inspired me to create Musings Via Jenevia, my little corner of the internet dedicated to all things literary.
Now, I have a new adventure: sharing my love of reading with my children. Here, you'll find musings on the books we love reading together, along with reflections on motherhood, early childhood development, and the evidence-informed practices I draw on as a certified Early Childhood Educator.
Whether I'm getting lost in a fantasy world or exploring the magic of a picture book with my little ones, I believe there's always a story worth sharing and something new to discover along the way.
